Isopropanol, also known as Iso Propyl Alcohol or IPA, is a colorless, flammable liquid with a distinctive odor. One of the main uses of Isopropanol is as a cleaning agent. Iso Propyl Alcohol is an excellent degreaser and is often used to remove dirt and grease from surfaces. It is often used to clean electronics, optical lenses, equipment and other sensitive devices for which traditional cleaners are not suitable. In paint and resin industries, Iso Propyl Alcohol is used as a very effective solvent.
